Write Winger: Gun grabbers think all gun owners want to kill people

After National Reciprocity was passed by the House, there was a predictable hysteria among gun grabbers, but this time there was a noticeably specific theme in their comments that likely indicates some kind of psychosis or a wildly distorted view of reality, but nevertheless tells us what they think of all gun owners.

After National Reciprocity was passed by the House, there was a predictable hysteria among gun grabbers, but this time there was a noticeably specific theme in their comments that likely indicates some kind of psychosis or a wildly distorted view of reality, but nevertheless tells us what they think of all gun owners.

The front page of the New York Post, for instance, declared:

“For the first time since the Vegas and Texas massacres, the House has OK’d a gun bill - not to protect us, but to let more people carry hidden arms into NY, and ban state laws that would stop them!”

Yes, a bill that literally gives us the ability to protect ourselves... doesn’t protect us.

The queen of gun control himself, Gavin Newscum, tweeted many times on the subject:

“Weeks after 2 of the worst mass shootings in our nation’s history, the House just voted to allow people to carry a concealed, loaded handgun in public places. I would comment, but I think their actions speak for themselves.”

“The first significant action on guns in Congress since the mass shootings in Nevada and Texas is to make it EASIER for a dangerous individual to carry around a loaded weapon.”

“[T]he House voted to make it easier for dangerous criminals to carry loaded guns around.”

Then he threw out this gem:

“We have a message for the NRA: if you hurt people, we ARE coming for your guns.”

Gavin, baby... it was an NRA member with an AR15 who shot and stopped a that guy from murdering more people at that Texas church. And who knows how many more lives could have been saved if one or more people who you refer to as “dangerous individuals carrying loaded guns” had been in that church returning fire.

And then there’s Nancy Pelosi:

”Inviting violent criminals to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives.”

In all these statements, there was no specifying any difference between law abiding people who go through the process to obtain concealed carry permits that they wish would lawfully apply in any state, and actual dangerous violent criminals who carry anyway, wherever they want, all the time, whether the law says they can or not.

There’s only one conclusion to draw by their statements: they literally believe that every person who owns a gun wants to and is going to kill people, and that anyone who carries a gun is going to pull it out and start shooting. To them, we are all the same.

Nevermind that concealed carry permit holders are the most law abiding demographic in the country, having gone through the rigorous background checks and hours of mandated training (not to mention the countless hours of personal training they go through because they take their personal protection seriously).

Their statements gives us a better understanding of the enemies of individual rights and liberty than it does about the bill. They believe all people are potential criminals who must be denied the liberty, the opportunity, and the ability to commit crimes before they do, and no amount of tyranny is too high to achieve their prevention and repression.

Because somebody “can” do something doesn’t mean they “will”. Millions of concealed carry permit holders and tens of millions of gun owners don’t use their guns criminally. If they do, THEN they should be punished.

What must it be like, though, to go through life or making policy decisions based on what somebody “might” do? Get rid of your steak knives now Gavin; she “might” cut it off if she suspects you of something you have done before.
