Congressman advocates kidnapping or murdering gun owners

To every owner of a semiautomatic rifle, which is about 15 million and growing, this congressman believes he has the power to require you to turn in your weapon or send somebody else to kidnap or kill you with the same weapon that he doesn’t want you to own. If that’s what he wants to do to you when you’re armed, imagine what he’d feel empowered to do if you weren’t.

It’s not often that politicians let you know their true intentions or spell out the real world applications of their policies. That’s why you have lowly bloggers like me who will, but who also need to grab your attention with click-bait but nevertheless accurate headlines.

Eric Swalwell is a congressional tyrant from the San Francisco Bay Area. He recently voiced his support for an “Australian style” gun ban in an opinion piece for USA Today:

Reinstating the federal assault weapons ban that was in effect from 1994 to 2004 would prohibit manufacture and sales, but it would not affect weapons already possessed. This would leave millions of assault weapons in our communities for decades to come. Instead, we should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons. The ban would not apply to law enforcement agencies or shooting clubs.

So law enforcement, otherwise known as “the government”, still needs to be able to kill its citizens with what Swalwell calls, “high-velocity bullets that move almost three times as fast as a 9mm handgun bullet, delivering far more energy, bullets that create cavities through the victim, wrecking a wider swath of tissue, organs and blood vessels. And with a low-recoil weapon with a higher-capacity magazine means more of these deadlier bullets can be fired accurately and quickly without reloading. An assault weapon, then, is a hand-held weapon of war, capable of spraying a crowd with more lethal fire in seconds.”

Swalwell exempts the government from any ban and then advocates for the forcible kidnapping, at the point of these weapons of war, of gun owners who do not turn in theirs and throwing them in prison. And if gun owners resist, they are to be murdered, by the government, with these weapons of war.

This isn’t hyperbole. How the hell else do you think this will be enforced?

Claiming “muh Constitutional Rights!” is useless to an elected tyrant who chooses not to uphold the Constitution. Yes, you have a right to arms. Yes, you shall not be deprived of your life, liberty, or property without due process. But the only thing preventing Swalwell from his tyranny is 1) the promise of others in all branches of government to uphold the Constitution, which is as flimsy as the parchment the Constitution was written on, and 2) that he doesn’t have the votes. If he did, as Feinstein said, it would be “Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in.”

And that right there is why your preexisting right to keep and bear arms is “protected” by the Constitution, and why you need to own an unserialized, unregistered, and unknown semiautomatic rifle in case that protection fails.
