The great purge of everything

The great purge has begun, from statues of Confederate generals to forums for white supremacists. But as with most purges, once it gets started, it begins to swallow up anything that gets in its ideological path.

Let's get something out of the way: everything is racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobic, transphobic, Nazi, racist... said that already... shaming, offensive, privileged, and triggering. If you are labeled any of these things, whether you are or aren't, you must be removed from the sight of your accusers, often violently.

If you disagree with the characterization of anything being labeled any of the above, then you obviously must support those awful labels, and you too must be removed.

The great purge has begun, from statues of Confederate generals to forums for white supremacists. But as with most purges, once it gets started, it begins to swallow up anything that gets in its ideological path.

Quick to act but slow to think, internet based services like PayPal and web hosts are removing people, businesses, and groups in their purge of anything not in their ideological wheelhouse or whom they find offensive, which is everything. Then they begin to target things they believe to be dangerous, like manufacturers of firearms or components.

Now Ghostgunner has been banned by all sorts of service providers. Many large service companies are hostile to anything to do with firearms, creating another version of "chokepoint" to prevent the advertising and sale of firearm related items. When will this purge reach some of our other favorite firearm related companies, like our own Firearms Unknown or others that supply individuals with the ability to manufacture unserialized and unregistered firearms at home?

Or when will they begin to cancel services to gun rights groups labeled as "hate groups" by the freaking laughable Southern Poverty Law Center, whom George Clooney just donated $1 Million to label any group that isn't radically progressive a "hate group"?

The purge is spreading, and only time will tell how far it gets.
