Lesson from church massacre: carry everywhere

Carry everywhere a mass murderer can carry a gun. Unless there’s a metal detector and a way to physically disarm you, carry. If you see a “no guns allowed” sign on a grocery store window, carry. If there is a “gun free zone” sign, let them prove it, and carry. If you are physically prevented from carrying, consider not going there. If you ever feel like a sitting duck or a fish in a barrel, stay away.

If a law exists that by following it can get you killed, do not follow the law.

Seems like a no brainer, but the mentality of the law abiding law abider is that it’s more important to not get in trouble than to follow what should be the first instinct of all living things - don’t let yourself die.

It’s considered a mental disorder if you lack that particular instinct, to not eat and starve yourself to death for example, or to take your own life by whatever means. But lacking the instinct for self preservation weeds you out of the gene pool just as easily, and it takes a certain amount of brain washing to make you believe that it’s somehow morally superior and in your best interest to follow the law and be defenseless against those who don’t follow the law when they try to kill you, than to break the law and potentially save your life.

Laws only prevent the crimes you’re not going to commit. If a law can’t prevent someone from carrying a gun into a crowded place and shooting everyone, it can’t prevent you from carrying a gun into that same place to protect your life and the lives of others either.

If you haven’t applied for a concealed carry permit, do it today. If you have to wait for a year or so for your Sheriff to issue you permission to defend yourself, carry while you wait. If your Sheriff won’t give you permission, carry anyway.

It’s a ridiculous notion, isn’t it? Would you ever ask a stranger, “Excuse me, is it ok with you if I defend myself and my family? Do you give me permission? Because until you give me permission, and especially if you don’t give me permission, I promise I won’t carry.” It’s absurd; treat a bad law like it’s absurd.

Carry anyway, and carry everywhere. Try to go the legal route, but often what’s legal isn’t moral, nor as in this case does it have your best interests at heart.

But carry everywhere.

And keep a rifle in your trunk.
