The Safe-T-Stix is a brightly colored florescent visual signal that indicates the firearm is safe. The Safe-T-Stix is inserted into the barrel completely sealing the chamber and extending beyond the muzzle creating a visual flag. This indicates that the weapon is safe from a live round being chambered. Operation of the trigger and slide mechanism remain functional allowing the use of the firearm in many instructional applications without the possibility of a live round being inadvertently chambered
