Our house black anodized forged upper receiver is a perfect addition to your complete lower receiver. Forged upper receivers are known for being stronger than billet due to the different manufacturing processes. If you need a quality upper that will last you a lifetime, look no further.
**NOTE: Cerakote can have a slightly different tint from batch to batch, the only way we can guarantee the color of this upper will match your lower, is if you buy your upper and lower in the same order from us.
Starting its life as an anodized AR-15 Upper Receiver, this upper is prepped and Cerakoted by our certified Cerakote applicator with name brand CeraKote. Once the Cerakote is dry we install the forward assist and dust cover.
The color is Magpul FDE.
NOTE:
Installation & Assembly We make all of our forged 5.56 uppers with a tight center bore (the hole in the upper that the barrel extension goes into). We do this to ensure a very tight fit between the barrel and the upper receiver. This helps eliminate harmonics/barrel whip issues. Especially with thinner & lighter profile barrels.
