Upon thinking about what we could do for a sale upper we decided to go digging through the parts boxes at our warehouse.
That adventure materialized into this upper you see before you.
If you ask, why do you call it the "shelving" upper, answer; because it is shelvingly cool. Well, it would have been 20 years ago.
For you youngsters, before Mlok, there was keymod.
Keymod was the first widely adopted attachment system that allowed users to put accessories on their firearms without having to take their rail off the rifle. For a while, years even, keymod was king.
Here's the thing, after a while people decided that the keymod design looks too much like shelving and the industry spoke up and Mlok took over.
While keymod accessories are still made, it's just not as popular as it used to be. Thus, why we decided to build these uppers and blow them out.
This shelving upper was build for you.
