Boker Exskelibur I Pocket Knife
This particularly modern variant with a stainless-steel frame lock is once again significantly slimmer than the various liner lock versions and is convincing both in everyday use and in tougher applications.
The textured front scales are made of olive green Micarta and give the design, originally intended as a gentleman's knife, a rustic look. The Spearpoint blade made of D2 has a dark stonewash finish and thus further emphasizes the outdoor character of the pocket knife. It is opened two-handed or by the front flipper and reliably locked by the sturdy stonewash frame lock. Supplied with a convertible clip (tip-up/tip-down) and a high-quality nylon case for storage.
D2 Tool Steel
With a chromium content of 12%, D2 — a tool steel — can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
