For more than 100 years, the Chicago Typewriter has been a favorite among collectors and shooting enthusiasts. The Tommy Gun is available with a steel receiver (T1 models) or a lighter weight aluminum receiver (T5 models).
All the classic details of the time honored original are reproduced in today's semi-auto Thompson 1927-A1 Deluxe. This .45 caliber carbine features a 16.5" finned barrel and genuine American walnut woodwork. It has a blade front sight with an open rear adjustable sight. This Deluxe Semi-Auto model has a pinned compensator for an 18" barrel length. The frame and receiver are machined from solid steel with a blued metal finish, and a fixed buttstock, pistol grip, and vertical foregrip. The 1927A-1 Deluxe includes one 50-round drum and one 20-round stick magazine.
